London has some of the most beautiful hotels in the world, and so we get a little excited when we hear that a new one has opened its doors for us to discover.
Introducing The Wellesley. The 1920’s art-deco themed townhouse is located practically next door to The Lanesborough in Knightsbridge, but trust us when we say, it totally holds its own. We’ve been for cocktails, and coffee, and next on our radar is afternoon tea which looks simply scrumptious.
The hotel boasts two unique offerings, superb jazz on weekend evenings, and the largest selection of cigars in a hotel, if you’re so inclined, in all of Europe. Even if you’re not a cigar smoker, you must take a peek at the heated outdoor terraces with their cozy fireplaces and opulent furnishings.
If you have family coming to stay in London, we would recommend checking out one of the 27 suites or 9 bedrooms which are all gorgeously welcoming and many offer beautiful views of Hyde Park.
We will definitely be spending a summer evening or two on The Wellesley terrace. You simply must check it out.
The Wellesley is located at 11 Knightsbridge, SW1x7LY.
